Green Tea for Gut Health?

Green Tea for gut health? Yup!

Green tea is known to support a healthy microbiome. It contains catechines which have been shown to be effective in reducing microbial overgrowth of species that cause dysbiosis. Green tea also acts as an antifungal, helping keep species like Candida albicans at bay. One other modulating effect Green Tea has on our gut health is supporting beneficial species such as Lactobaccilus, Bifidobacterium, Clostridia, and Akkermansia.

There are lots of green teas out there so find the one you like and sip on it knowing you are supporting your gut health!
